1    Dial in from a phone

This is simplest. Depending on your telephone supplier, and contract you may have to pay something for the calls.

You will need the following information from your chapel:

- Telephone number to dial

- Zoom meeting ID number

- Meeting Password number

Procedure

Dial the required telephone number.

When requested tap in the Zoom meeting ID number, followed by #

When asked for your participant ID, just press #

If requested tap in the meeting password number followed by #

You will join the meeting.

At the end just put your phone down.

2 Install Zoom Application and use that.

If your chapel has a website and provides link for you to connect, or a trusted person has sent you the connection link., use that, and then:

Smartphone will show a button to download the app from the relevant appstore for your type of phone. - Download and install.

Windows Computers will normally attempt to download the Windows App, but you will probably have to accept prompts to allow this to happen, depending on your settings, and antivirus / security software.

If you get re-directed to the Microsoft App Store (which does not have the Windows Zoom App), you may need to change:

Windows Settings -->

    --> Apps and Features

         -> change Choose Where to get Apps from "The Microsoft Store only (recommended)" to

                "Anywhere, but warn me before installing an app that's not from the Microsoft Store"

and then try again, and the App should install.

All

Once you have the app installed, either:

The link from the chapel website, or link you have been given should open Zoom automatically, and ask you to enter your name and, if requested, the meeting password.

or:

- Click on Join a Meeting

- Enter Meeting ID, and your name and click JOIN

- If required supply the meeting password.

You will be connected.
